Nitrous Competitions Racing enjoyed a sensational opening round of the 2026 Bennetts British Superbike Championship as Kyle Ryde delivered a stunning triple race victory while teammate Glenn Irwin added further strong performances to complete an outstanding weekend for the team.
From the first session on track, the team demonstrated race-winning pace, with both riders consistently running at the front of the field throughout the event.
Kyle Ryde was the standout performer of the weekend, dominating all three races in a flawless display of speed, consistency, and control. The reigning champion produced a commanding performance across the entire round, converting strong qualifying pace into a perfect hat-trick of victories and leaving Round One at the top of the championship standings.
Ryde’s triple win marked the ideal start to the new campaign and underlined Nitrous Competitions Racing’s intent to fight for championship honours once again in 2026.
Glenn Irwin also enjoyed a competitive and productive weekend aboard the Nitrous Competitions Racing machine. The Northern Irishman battled consistently inside the leading group and secured valuable championship points while continuing to build momentum with the team package. Irwin’s experience and determination added further strength to an already impressive opening round for the squad.
