Nitrous Competitions Racing Continues Winning Momentum at Round Two of Bennetts British Superbike Championship

Nitrous Competitions Racing continued its outstanding start to the 2026 Bennetts British Superbike Championship with another hugely successful weekend at Round Two, as Kyle Ryde claimed two victories from three races to extend his lead at the top of the championship standings.

Following a dream opening round, the team arrived full of confidence and once again demonstrated race-winning pace throughout the weekend, with both Kyle Ryde and Glenn Irwin battling at the front of the field.

Kyle Ryde delivered another exceptional performance at Donington park aboard the Nitrous Competitions Racing machine, taking victory in two of the weekend’s three races and further strengthening his advantage in the championship fight. Showing consistency, composure, and outright speed, Ryde remained a constant threat throughout every session and continued to underline his status as the rider to beat in the 2026 title battle.

The double victory weekend marks five wins from the opening six races of the season for Ryde and Nitrous Competitions Racing, continuing a remarkable start to the campaign.

Glenn Irwin also showed strong pace across the weekend, fighting consistently inside the leading group and adding valuable points to the team’s championship tally. The Northern Irishman continued to make progress with the package and demonstrated the determination and racecraft that have made him one of the leading names in British Superbikes.

Team Principal Dave Williams praised the efforts of the entire team after another highly competitive weekend.

“To leave Round Two with another two wins for Kyle and more strong performances from Glenn is incredibly satisfying for everyone involved. Kyle has been outstanding again this weekend and the whole team has worked tirelessly to maintain this level of performance. Glenn also showed excellent pace and contributed valuable points for the team. We’re building strong momentum early in the season, but we know there is still a long championship ahead.”

Nitrous Competitions Racing now heads into the next round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Knockhill leading the standings and full of confidence as the battle for the 2026 title continues.
