Nitrous Competitions Racing returned to action at Snetterton for Round 4 of the Zyn British Superbike Championship, where Kyle Ryde and Glenn Irwin showcased impressive pace throughout the majority of the race weekend at the Norfolk circuit.
Following encouraging performances in practice and qualifying, both riders lined up ready to fight for strong championship points around the fast and technical 2.99-mile Snetterton 300 layout.
Kyle Ryde demonstrated consistent speed from the outset, battling his way to the front and leading for much of the weekend. He fought for the top step of the podiumthroughout the event, securing further race wins and a second-place finish.
Unfortunately for Glenn, he was involved in a coming together with his brother at Turn 2, which forced him out of the remainder of the weekend as he was taken to hospital withsuspected fractures. Following extensive specialist checks, Glenn returned home after being given the all-clear and is now preparing for Round 5 of the championship at Brands Hatch.
Snetterton always provides close racing, and this weekend was no different. Kyle and Glenn both gave everything on track, while the entire team worked incredibly hard throughout the weekend. There are plenty of positives to take away, but our focus is already on making further improvements ahead of the next round. The championship is incredibly competitive, and every point counts.
